Busn Statistic Analysis (MAT-246)
Application of statistical methods to business. An introduction to descriptive statistics, probability theory, sampling, estimations, hypothesis testing, analysis of frequencies, linear regression and correlation, time-series analysis and computer applications. Recommended as the foundation course in quantitative analysis as generally prescribed by AACSB member colleges for business administration students. Prerequisites: ENG 089, ENG 099, and a grade of "C" or better in MAT 143 or permission of the instructor. 4 lecture hours per week. 4 credit hours.
