Field Experience (HUD-216)
90 hours of interpreting observation and hands-on experience with supervision Students will gain experience interpreting in a variety of settings with Deaf consumers who have diverse linguistic preferences. Attendance at field experience activities are required. Development of paper and video portfolio are required for this course. Prerequisites: HUD 106, HUD 108 and HUD 215, demonstration of proficiency via examination and permission of Division Dean's office. 1 lecture hour per week. 3 credit hours.
