This course provides an introduction to urban government and politics. It looks at the political structures, forces, and issues that affect the urban community. Topics include machine politics, the politics of reform, the service challenge, and civil disorders. Prerequisites: ENG 097. 3 lecture hours per week. 3 credit hours.
