Elements of Physics (PHY-125)
This is a general education lab science course. This course covers the fundamental ideas and concepts of physics in the following topics; measurements and units, motion of bodies, forces, work and energy, momentum, temperature and heat, waves, optics, electricity and magnetism, radiation, and atomic and nuclear physics. Prerequisite: MAT 119. Corequisite: PHYL 125. 3 lecture hours per week. 3 credit hours.
